Description
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is an advanced, adaptive 3-stage charger designed for dual battery systems, commonly used in vehicles or boats. With Bluetooth Smart enabled, the charger can be easily monitored and programmed using a smartphone or tablet. The charger supports both 12V and 24V systems and is compatible with both lead acid and lithium batteries.
The charger uses an adaptive 3-stage charge algorithm (bulk, absorption, float) to deliver optimal charging and has the ability to adjust the absorption time based on the battery discharge level. It also features a smart alternator compatibility with an engine running detection mechanism, allowing the charger to manage charging based on the vehicle's engine status. This model is suitable for high-temperature environments (up to 55°C) with full rated output at temperatures up to 40°C.
With the option to connect multiple chargers in parallel, the Orion-Tr Smart allows users to scale up the charging capacity to suit their needs. It is equipped with remote on/off functionality, short circuit protection, and IP43 rated protection, ensuring durability and easy installation without the need for special tools.
