The MultiPlus-II 48/8000/110-100/100 230V brings together the most powerful features from Victron Energy in a compact and efficient solution. With its PowerAssist function, it prevents overload from limited AC sources like generators or shore power, by reducing battery charging or boosting the AC source with power from the battery when needed. This is ideal for ensuring smooth power management in remote or off-grid settings.
As part of an Energy Storage System (ESS), the MultiPlus-II offers excellent integration with MPPT solar chargers and grid-tied PV inverters. It also boasts uninterrupted AC power via its UPS function, automatically taking over the power supply from grid, shore, or generator in less than 20 milliseconds. This rapid response ensures that connected loads, such as computers and other sensitive equipment, continue to function without disruption.
The remote monitoring and control feature via Cerbo GX allows users to monitor and control the system locally or remotely using the VRM app or the VRM portal. With Bluetooth compatibility, this system offers full flexibility to adjust settings, monitor performance, and even manage auto-start for backup generators from your phone, tablet, or computer.

PowerAssist
The MultiPlus-II will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.
ESS: Energy Storage Systems

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)
In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.
Remote Monitoring and Control
When coupled with a Cerbo GX you can monitor and control your MultiPlus-II 48/8000 and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website.
