Description
The Victron MultiPlus 12/2000/80-50 120V VE.Bus (UL) is a versatile and compact unit that integrates an inverter and charger into one solution. Designed for 120V AC systems, it offers a 2000VA continuous output and 3500W peak power, making it suitable for powering a variety of loads in small to medium-sized applications.
This model features PowerAssist technology, which ensures that a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection, does not get overloaded. The system automatically reduces battery charging or boosts the output with battery power to maintain the desired performance level.
In the event of a grid failure or disconnection of shore/generator power, the MultiPlus switches to inverter power in less than 20 milliseconds, ensuring continuous power to sensitive electronics without interruption. This makes it ideal for applications where uninterrupted power supply (UPS) is critical.
The parallel operation feature allows up to 6 units to work together for increased output, and the unit also supports three-phase or split-phase configurations, providing flexibility in larger systems. The remote monitoring and control functionality, via a GX device (e.g., Cerbo GX), enables users to manage their system locally or remotely, from any internet-connected device, ensuring convenient and efficient operation.
