Description
The Victron MultiPlus 48/800 combines an inverter and battery charger in one unit, offering a reliable solution for smaller off-grid or hybrid power systems. Its true sine wave inverter provides clean, stable power suitable for sensitive electronics. With adaptive charging technology, it optimizes the charging of connected batteries, extending their lifespan and performance.
In case of grid failure or when shore or generator power is lost, the MultiPlus automatically activates, taking over power supply to connected loads. This happens in less than 20 milliseconds, making it ideal for critical applications where any interruption would be unacceptable, such as computers or medical equipment.
The PowerAssist feature helps to manage power usage by supplementing limited shore or generator power with battery power when demand exceeds available power. This ensures that systems remain operational during peak loads, and any spare power is used to recharge the battery when the load decreases.
For flexible scalability, the MultiPlus supports parallel operation, allowing up to six units to be connected for higher output power. Additionally, three-phase operation can be achieved by configuring three units together.
With the remote monitoring and control functionality, users can manage their system via the VRM app or VRM portal. This allows full control locally or remotely, providing convenience and flexibility, whether at home or on the go.

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)
In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. Remote Monitoring and Control

PowerAssist – Boosting the Capacity of Shore or Generator Power
This feature takes the principle of PowerControl to a further dimension. It allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
