The Victron MultiPlus 48/500/6-16 is an all-in-one inverter charger designed to provide efficient and clean power for various applications. As a true sine wave inverter, it ensures that your devices receive stable, high-quality power, which is crucial for sensitive electronics. The adaptive charging technology ensures your batteries are charged efficiently, optimizing battery life and performance.
In case of a grid failure or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the MultiPlus automatically activates and supplies power to your system. The UPS function switches over so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that devices like computers and sensitive electronics will continue to run without interruption, making it an ideal choice for critical loads.
The PowerAssist feature allows the MultiPlus to supplement shore or generator power during high-demand moments by drawing power from the battery when required. This ensures that the energy source is never overloaded and that peak demand is always met. Once the demand decreases, the system uses the spare power to recharge the battery, enhancing system efficiency.
For more demanding applications, the MultiPlus can be connected in parallel with up to six units to increase power output. Three-phase output is also possible with the connection of three units, making the MultiPlus 48/500 versatile for both small and larger systems.
With remote monitoring and control enabled by coupling with a GX device (like the Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control your system from anywhere in the world through the free VRM app and VRM portal. This provides you with full control over the system, whether adjusting settings or automatically starting a backup generator remotely.
