Description
The Scanstrut DS16-SL-BLK Black Vertical Entry Cable Seal is a robust and reliable solution for routing cables through roofs, decks or panels while maintaining a fully waterproof seal. Designed specifically to support Starlink installations, it is compatible with Starlink Standard (Gen 3), Enterprise (Gen 3) and Mini systems, making it ideal for marine vessels, campervans, motorhomes and other outdoor installations.
Engineered with Scanstrut’s low-profile dome design, the seal offers increased durability and impact resistance while helping deflect water away from the cable entry point. The compact design maintains a neat appearance while providing dependable protection against water ingress.
The seal features an IP68 waterproof rating, ensuring complete protection against dust and prolonged water exposure. Its tapered bung design with a closed base seal forms a reliable watertight barrier once installed.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the split bung system, which allows cables to be installed without removing connectors or cutting wires. The unit includes three interchangeable bungs, allowing installers to accommodate different cable sizes or create custom cable entry points.
Constructed from high-impact UV-stable plastic, the DS16-SL-BLK is built to withstand harsh outdoor and marine conditions. It is supplied with 316 stainless steel fixings and a waterproof 3M gasket, ensuring long-lasting corrosion resistance and additional sealing protection.
The integrated captive nuts simplify assembly and make repeat installations easy and reliable. With its 39 mm diameter and low-profile 19 mm height, the cable seal provides a tidy and professional finish while protecting critical cable entry points from the elements.
