The Fogstar Drift 12V 172Ah (H8) DIN Fit is designed to be a true drop-in replacement for lead-acid batteries, offering the same physical footprint while delivering the performance benefits of LiFePO₄ technology.
Built in a standard DIN (H8) case, it allows seamless installation into existing battery compartments without modification—making it ideal for campervans, motorhomes, marine applications, and off-grid systems upgrading from AGM or lead-acid setups.
At its core is a powerful 250A Smart BMS, providing advanced protection and consistent power delivery for both leisure and inverter-based systems. The addition of active cell balancing ensures long-term stability and efficiency, while integrated CANbus and RS485 communication enables clean system integration with compatible inverter and monitoring platforms.
Designed for real-world conditions, the battery features Bluetooth monitoring, a built-in low-temperature heating system, and a physical on/off switch for safe isolation. Built using Grade A EVE prismatic cells, it offers dependable performance backed by a 10-year warranty and UK-based support.
