Description
The BMV-702 from Victron Energy is an advanced battery monitor that provides you with an accurate overview of your battery's health and performance. It calculates ampere-hours consumed and tracks the state of charge by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery, helping you maintain optimal usage. Equipped with intelligent algorithms, this monitor accounts for battery age, temperature, and discharge current to give you the most accurate data.
This unit features a fuel gauge to display the remaining battery capacity, a time-to-go indicator, and other essential metrics such as voltage, current, and power consumption in watts. It also allows for customizable alarms, with visual and audible alerts that signal when to take action, such as turning off non-critical loads or activating a generator.
The BMV-702 offers easy installation via its quick-connect PCB on the current shunt, and it includes a 10m RJ12 cableand a 2m battery cable with a fuse. A separate front bezel allows you to choose between a square or round display, giving you flexibility for installation. This monitor can measure additional inputs, such as voltage of a second battery, temperature, or midpoint voltage for comprehensive monitoring.
With its VE.Direct communication port, you can also store and evaluate historical data, making it easier to analyse your usage patterns and battery health over time.
