Description
Designed for off-grid electricity access, the SHS 200 MPPT from Victron Energy is a versatile, cost-effective solar charge controller and power distribution solution. It is perfect for powering DC appliances such as LED lights, fans, TVs, and fridges in remote areas. The system supports Pay-as-you-go (PAYGo) operations, allowing users to gradually increase their power subscription as needed. With its Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, the SHS 200 maximises solar energy harvesting, while the smart battery management features ensure optimal performance and longer battery life.
The unit is designed to work with both lead-acid and lithium batteries (up to 160Ah) and is compatible with solar panels (up to 200Wp). It includes 15 DC load outputs and has four PV inputs, providing flexibility for a wide range of appliances. With a user-friendly LCD screen and keypad activation, it allows easy access to system information and supports offline, mobile-money payments for PAYGo users. The system can be customised to meet the needs of distributors and last-mile operators.
