The Astro 12V 48 LED is the highest-output model in the Astro range, offering powerful and efficient lighting for a wide variety of vehicle and workspace applications. Incorporating the latest Orizon LED strip technology, the unit uses 48 high-intensity Cree LEDs to deliver outstanding luminosity with low energy consumption, making it ideal where maximum brightness is required.
At 593mm, the Astro provides a significantly wider spread of light than standard awning lights. Its angled illumination pattern ensures exceptional visibility along the side of a vehicle, across outdoor work areas, on shelving, in lockers, and in other task-based environments.
The LED strip is housed within a slim aluminium body with durable ABS snap-on end caps, concealing all fixings for a clean, streamlined appearance. The internal components are fully encapsulated within a polycarbonate extrusion, achieving an IP66 waterproof rating that protects the unit from moisture, dust, and harsh outdoor conditions.
Certified to ECE R10 (E11 10R-057639), the Astro range meets stringent vehicle installation standards. The series is available in 12, 24, and 48 LED versions, offering flexible lighting performance to suit varying requirements and budgets. For even greater convenience, this model is compatible with an optional 5-minute PIR sensor/switch configuration.
