Description
The 10W Flexi Solar Panel is built for performance, durability, and ease of use. The ETFE top layer provides a self-healing effect, meaning any minor abrasions caused by contact with branches or other obstacles will repair themselves within hours. This makes it perfect for outdoor installations, including on boats or camper vans where the panel may be exposed to rough conditions. Additionally, the panel's dimpled surface helps with anti-slip properties, preventing accidents when installed on boat decks.
The panel's junction box is fully waterproof, ensuring that there is no risk of water ingress. The UV-stabilised 4m cableprovides strain relief and durability, while the mechanically fixed junction box further enhances the panel's reliability. The flexibility of the panel allows it to be bonded to a variety of surfaces, such as painted aluminium, fibreglass, and GRP, using the recommended Simson ISR 70-03 adhesive.
For installations with partial shading, this panel is equipped with built-in diodes that prevent heat build-up and damaging hot spots, extending the lifespan of the panel.
